Sarah has been dancing for 12 years, developing her training in Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Ballet. Her passion for dance began with an interest in Hip Hop and Jazz when she was 13 years old. As a member of the dance team for three years in high school, she became captain of the team in 2003. At Jakarta International School, she received an ‘Award in Dance’ in 2002 and a ‘Most Valuable Dancer’ award in 2003.
Her dance training was primarily at Jakarta International School, Lasalle College of the Arts Singapore, and Sydney Dance Company. In 2006 Sarah completed a Diploma in Dance in Singapore, where the focus was mainly on Contemporary and Ballet. She completed a ballet course in the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing in 2005. The variety in techniques brought about Sarah’s versatile dancing style.
She has performed in Singapore at Zouk Nightclub, Chingay Parade, and Indonesian Art Festival. In Sydney she has performed with Soulxpress at Space Nightclub and The Burbs Festival.
Sarah has taught at Jakarta International School, Singapore International School of Jakarta, National Institute of Youth Performing Arts Australia, and Soulxpress at Sydney University.
