In 2009 he took out 3 dance categories at Re-link the elements, winning
1v1 Hip Hop, 1v1 House and 2v2 Locking. Nish is also a founding member of the Melbourne Lockers and MHD (Melbourne house dancers) and is also the newest member to jigsaw Sneakers.
Nish’s locking credits include winner of the National Masters of Hip Hop 2010, Freestyle @ Fed Square 2009 and Funk it up 2008.

Having recently returned from Japan learning from crews like Middle filter,Sucreamgoodman and Alma as well as learning from Elite force, Nish endeavors to share this knowledge and spread the true culture of Hip Hop.

Bio:
Has been dancing since he was 14 years old, finding an interest in street dancing
especially. Mostly a self-taught dancer but also learnt through friends. His favorite
styles are Hip Hop and House. Also has been a dance teacher for 5 years to date.

Currently is a member of three dance groups, which are Jigsaw Sneakers, MHD (Melbourne
House Dancers) and BC Tribe. Recently MHD placed 2nd runner up at Get Krump’d 2009.
Jigsaw Sneakers also has won RAW 2007, Battle State 2007 & WANTED 2007. Deloy came 1st
Runner-Up at Hip Hop Battle @ WANTED 2009 and 1st at Freestyle Masters of Hip Hop 2010 in
House.

Bio:
Jay Jamero is a Melbourne based street dancer and co-founder of Australian renowned hiphop team – Jigsaw Sneakers. Jay has  travelled to various organisations across Australia, teaching hiphop

dance through regular workshops, classes and jams.  As well as being involved in judging competitions, choreography, club shows and performances, Jay continually aspires to increase  his vocabulary in dance and is always consistently learning from many dancers in the community. Predominately focusing on hiphop dance, he is also passionate about all forms of dance including, house, funk styles and breaking’.

 Jay’s passion and thirst for music and dance has shaped him up to  be one of Melbourne’s leading street dancers.

Bboy Blond has been breaking for over 13 years, gaining a wealth of experience through battling, teaching, choreographing theatre shows, judging competitions, starring in commercials and touring all over the world. He has won many prestigious international breaking competitions, most notably Battle of the Year, 2007 with Extreme Crew. Most recently he choreographed and starred in the theatre production, Ballerina Who Loves a Bboy, and toured it around Korea, to Scotland, China, Japan, Guam and even presented it on Broadway in New York.

Bboy Blond is well known for his incredible powermoves, yet he is an all-round breaker who is well versed in all elements of Bboying.

BBoy Blond is an excellent teacher; this workshop is a great opportunity to get some tips for training more efficiently. You will also get advice to get started with your power moves if you are a beginner or to improve your windmills, swipes, 2000’s and more if you are already practicing those moves.

Popin Pete started to learn the popping style from his older brother Sam who he would always watch dance in 1978.

Today he’s a legend as he has gone on to innovate styles/moves like crazy legs, ET, spider man and sleepy style. Currently Pete is helping spread popping and boogaloo knowledge all over the world

 About Abd-L:

Abd-L started bboying in 1998 in Toulouse. Five years later he wins the French Bboy Championship with his crew- the Vagabonds Crew- in 2003.
He will win many other Championships with the Vagabonds crew including Chelles Battle Pro, BBoy respect in Meaux, Urban Games in London and Battle of Year France.
In 2006 Abd-L and his crew are the winners of B.O.T.Y (Battle of the Year) and winners of Best in Show in Germany.
In 2008, Abd-L had founded his own dance school in France only dedicated to Breaking. He is now a very well-known bboy, event organizer and teacher.  He teaches a lot of young dancers, but he always points out to them that they shouldn’t see breaking as a profession. He motivates them to go to school and get an education so they can get a good job. Abd-L himself lives the life of a dancer at the moment, but he knows that it’s important to have other plans for the future as well.

With his crew Vagabonds he dances in battles and shows. “Shows are more difficult because the preparations are very time consuming and take a lot of energy.” Vagabonds has had 3 big shows in the last few years, “Chienne De Vie” in 2000, “Mozart” in 2004, and “Aliens” in 2006

PROFILE
Monnir Biba aka MOUNIR started breaking in 1998 with some of his friends. In the beginning it was just for fun, but very soon it became the most important part of his life.

MOUNIR is a member of the famous Vagabond Crew, winner of the Battle of the Year in 2006. The 24 year old B-Boy has a very aggressive style. He is an earnest young man and this is reflected in his dance. He dances on a technically high level, has a great way of combining footwork with power moves and is known to be an unusually complete dancer. He also holds the world record “most windmills in 30 seconds,” accomplished in Beijing this year by busting 46 windmills.
MOUNIR was originally inspired by B-Boys like Flow Master, Ivan, Storm or crews like Style Elements. Now his biggest inspiration is his own crew.
